"An atmosphere, painted paper, writings, a toy, a refrigerator, a look, a chair. the everyday things which carry us towards our most intimate sceneries."
In the course of time I see that the same themes keep interesting me, the same everyday things. Those things, which surround us. Those, which continue in time. Those, which are the memory as well as the future. They are the source of my inspiration. The things as historical memory of the everyday life. The things as intimate sceneries. The things and their poetry, their domestic poetry. As for me, painting is the permanent evolution, it is the search in the subconscious for the spontaneous capability to generate shapes, colours, textures, objects, which construct the present in which we live, starting out from the past and its memory. That's the reason why the softness of the light in the twilight makes me slip towards the world of poetry, of souvenirs, towards its real-life experience and its feelings. An atmosphere, painted paper, writings, a toy, a refrigerator, a look, a chair. the everyday things which carry us towards our most intimate sceneries. In this border between poetic and daily life live the objects, archetypes and schematizations, which compose my pictorial universe.
